Hospice Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
Who is Eligible for Hospice?
Anyone who has a life-limiting, terminal illness with a life expectancy of 6 months or less and is no longer receiving curative treatments is eligible to receive hospice care.

You will receive 24-hour access to the Physician’s Choice hospice nursing staff who are prepared to answer questions or respond during emergencies or crisis situations.
Patients can be admitted immediately including after hours, weekends, or holidays 24/7.
Who pays for hospice?
No Additional Out of Pocket Cost
Covered 100% by Medicare, Medicaid, and Most Private Insurance Plans.
You never need to worry about the cost. Initially, Medicare provides coverage for hospice care when the hospice doctor signs a certification that that patient is terminally ill.
